FINOMAD is governed through a layered structure that gives its founders, participants and independent advisers each a defined role.

    Acts as a supervisory body (comparable to a Raad van Toezicht) representing founders and key participants and sponsors

    Advises the board; brings expertise from key suppliers, user groups and public-authority and European mobility perspectives

    Honorary body that publicly supports the Foundation’s mission

Board(Bestuur)

The board consists of one or more locally resident European citizens active in mobility, drawn from the founding and participating organisations. It is responsible for the day-to-day management and the legal representation of the Foundation.

Participants’ Council(Raad van Deelnemers)

The Participants’ Council represents the founders and key participants and sponsors, and exercises a supervisory role. It has between 2 and 5 members.

Advisory Board(Raad van Advies)

The Advisory Board has between 3 and 8 members, nominated by key suppliers of core services (technology, driver onboarding, customer service, marketing) or by representative user groups, alongside a member nominated by a public authority and a European-level mobility adviser.

Standing or ad-hoc working groups may be established to support specific themes, such as Audit, Technology and Ethics.

An honorary committee of respected individuals and organisations who publicly support the mission of FINOMAD.

FINOMAD was established with the involvement of a management company based in the Netherlands.

FINOMAD is built on cooperation between public authorities, private mobility operators and civil-society organisations. There are several ways to take part.
